Record Year For Malaga Airport

Malaga Airport has closed 2019 with a record-breaking figure of nearly 20 million passengers.

Statistics show that in the first 11 months of last year, 18.7 million passengers used the airport, which was an increase of 4.5 per cent compared with the same period in 2018. There were 135,896 flights, which was nearly three per cent more than the previous year. The majority of travelers took international flights, although there was an eight per cent increase in flights to other Spanish destinations.
